Transdiagnostic Evidence Base of Exposure Therapy
About
The primary goal of this working group is to conduct high-quality meta-analytic reviews examining the efficacy of exposure-based interventions on transdiagnostic psychological processes and clinical outcomes. Specific aims are to (a) synthesize evidence across diagnostic categories, (b) identify moderators of treatment effects, including intervention characteristics and population factors, and (c) clarify the extent to which exposure therapy produces change in core transdiagnostic mechanisms. An additional goal is to promote methodological rigor, transparency, and collaboration in exposure therapy research, in line with the consortium’s mission to advance cumulative and clinically meaningful evidence.
