Current Initiatives
Strategic Summit to Rebrand Exposure Therapy: New Paths for Dissemination and Marketing
Exposure therapy is one of the most effective psychological interventions available, yet it remains widely misunderstood, underutilized, and inconsistently implemented. This initiative brings together clinicians, researchers, educators, communication experts, and other stakeholders to rethink how exposure therapy is communicated to practitioners, patients, healthcare organizations, and the broader public.
The Strategic Summit serves as a collaborative forum to develop innovative approaches to communication, dissemination, and stakeholder engagement that can improve understanding, acceptance, and adoption of exposure therapy. Insights generated through the summit will inform future ETC initiatives aimed at strengthening public messaging, educational resources, and dissemination strategies that support broader implementation of high-quality exposure therapy.
